The Girl Behind the Camera

I’m the photographer/content creator behind Raise the BAR Creative Co. I’ve spent most of my life around horses, rodeo, and the western way of life, so photographing it came pretty naturally to me.

What started as a love for taking photos has grown into getting to capture everything from rodeo runs and horses to seniors, families, couples, weddings, and hopefully one day brands. I love photos that feel like the people in them, natural, genuine, and not overly posed.

Being on both sides of the western world and the camera gives me a different perspective when I’m shooting. I understand the little things that matter, whether that’s getting the right moment during a run, making sure your horse looks good too, or helping someone who swears they’re awkward in front of a camera actually feel comfortable.
